Sec. 1.100 Dog Registration Fee
The applicant shall pay to the secretary/authorized person a sum approved by council as a registration fee. The registration may be done by mail for an additional fee of $1.00 and a copy of the certificate of vaccination. (Ordinance 0410 adopted 10/12/04)

Sec. 1.200 General Fees
(a) Registration.
(1) Neutered/spayed animals $5.00
(2) Nonneutered/spayed animals $10.00

(b) Late Registration. For animals not registered within 60 days of residency or for failure to renew registration within 60 days of renewal date, the fee will increase by an additional $10.00.

(e) Called out, no animal found $30.00
(f) Court appearance by animal control officer $25.00 per hour

Sec. 1.300 Animal Pickup Fees
(a) A pickup charge of $50.00 per animal, plus any charges assessed by the pound will be paid by the animalβs owner. (Ordinance 0610 adopted 7/11/06)
(b) An additional $10.00 registration fee shall be assessed for any dog that requires pickup if the dog does not have current registration with the city. The owner must bring proof of current vaccination to the secretary/authorized person of the city and obtain a release to pick up their animal, and they will pay any charges incurred by the pound.

Sec. 1.400 Dangerous Dogs
(a) The owner of a dangerous dog shall pay an annual fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00).
(b) If an owner of a registered dangerous dog sells or moves the dog to a new address within the city, he/she, not later than the fourteenth (14th) day after the date of sale or move, shall notify the animal control or his or her designee. On presentation by the current owner of the dangerous dogβs prior registration tag and payment of a fee of fifty dollars ($50.00), the city shall issue a new registration tag to be placed on the dogβs collar.
