It shall be unlawful for the operator or owner of any motor vehicle rates over one ton to stop, stand or park such vehicle on any street adjacent to or in front of any residence in the City of Oak Leaf. Said owner of such vehicle shall park, or cause to be parked, said vehicle behind the front plane of the closest resident in the City of Oak Leaf, Texas provided, however, that operators of commercial vehicles engaged in making deliveries may park said vehicle on said residential streets in the City of Oak Leaf, Texas, while loading and unloading. The provisions of this section shall also not apply to school buses, emergency vehicles, private passenger automobiles or to motor vehicles and other equipment which are actually engaged in work upon any residential street or while engaged in installing or repairing utilities, but not be left overnight.
